Ottawa, ON — July 30, 2026 — The Kanata North Business Association (KNBA), the voice and champion of Canada’s Largest Technology Park, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tania Leppert to its Board of Directors.
As Vice President and Head of Ericsson’s Ottawa site, Tania Leppert brings more than 20 years of global leadership experience spanning research and development, product management, strategy, sales and executive leadership across Canada, Sweden, South Korea and Germany. Throughout her career at Ericsson, she has led multidisciplinary teams and advanced technologies that are shaping the future of telecommunications, security and next-generation digital infrastructure.
With expertise spanning mission-critical communications networks, artificial intelligence (AI), quantum technologies and cybersecurity, Tania has built a career at the intersection of innovation, business strategy and technology leadership. Her appointment further strengthens the KNBA Board’s expertise across the technologies driving Canada’s future competitiveness and aligns with the Association’s mission to accelerate innovation, commercialization and economic growth.
Tania holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University, specializing in telecommunications and signal processing, as well as an MBA in Sustainable and Responsible Leadership from the University of Maastricht.
