A European company that designs telecommunications equipment is expanding its presence into Kanata as part of its shift into the North American market.
Netherlands-based AimValley announced that the company hired Robert Fitts as the director of North American business development – the first local employee for the company and a well known name in the area, having served as CENGN’s interim CEO in late 2018 and early 2019.
AimValley is a familiar partner to several major firms in the area, having worked closely with various other networking equipment companies in Kanata North, providing design services, feasibility studies, software development and compliance testing services throughout the years.
While the telecom company has yet to develop a physical presence in the area, company leaders are looking to put down roots in the technology community to further expand and grow the business.
