Speaker:
Jonathan Calof is the UNESCO co-chair on anticipatory systems for innovation and venture creation. A professor at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa and North-West University in South Africa. Dr. Calof is a prolific speaker, an author and a world-renowned expert in competitive intelligence and anticipatory systems. The media has referred to him as “the éminence grise of Canadian CI theorists” and as “regarded worldwide as a competitive intelligence guru”. Frost and Sullivan presented him with their Lifetime Achievement Award. Jonathan was recently named chair of the Ontario Intelligence Center of Excellence, an organization that represents both foresight and market insight. His book on gaining market insight from events has been referred to as a global competitive intelligence phenomenon and has been translated into Chinese and Japanese.
