Ottawa, ON — [May 28, 2026] — The Kanata North Business Association (KNBA), the advocate for over 800 companies in Kanata North – Canada’s largest technology park – is pleased to announce the appointment of Veronica Farmer to its Board of Directors.

As Chief Marketing Officer at Wesley Clover International, Veronica Farmer brings more than two decades of leadership experience spanning technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, strategic communications, ecosystem development and community engagement. Throughout her career, she has built a strong reputation as a connector, collaborator and advocate for Ottawa’s innovation economy.

Veronica’s connection to Kanata North runs deep. From supporting entrepreneurs and scaling global brands to advancing partnerships between industry, academia and the broader community, she has played an active role in helping shape the ecosystem that defines Canada’s Largest Technology Park.

Her previous leadership roles with the University of Ottawa’s Kanata North campus, the Kanata North Business Association, and numerous technology and community initiatives have given her a unique perspective on the opportunities and challenges facing high growth innovation ecosystems. She is widely recognized for her ability to bring people together, foster meaningful partnerships and elevate the profile of organizations and communities on both a regional and national stage.

As the KNBA continues advancing initiatives that strengthen connections between industry, talent, research, capital and commercialization, Veronica’s strategic insight and leadership will help support the organization’s vision for the future of Kanata North as a globally recognized innovation district.
