June 4, 2020; Ottawa, ON – The Kanata North Business Association (KNBA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Victoria McGlone as the Association’s new Chief Operating Officer. Victoria was selected as the result of an extensive search, and will assume the role previously occupied by Veronica Farmer.
As Canada’s largest technology cluster, Kanata North Technology Park is home to over 540 companies with over 24,000 people working in the park every day.
“I am thrilled to announce the appointment of Victoria McGlone as Chief Operating Officer of the Kanata North Business Association,” said KNBA President, Jamie Petten. “Victoria is a proven and demonstrated leader with several years of senior leadership experience within our technology park. Her enthusiasm for our community will undoubtedly serve us well in the months and years to come. Together, I look forward to serving our 540 members and taking Canada’s largest technology park to new heights.”
Originally from Wales, Victoria relocated to Canada ten years ago for a career opportunity in the Kanata North Technology Park. For the last decade, Victoria has served as a senior sales leader for local companies such as Toushay, Titus and InitLive. Most recently Victoria held a senior leadership position with next-generation payment platform, Veem as their Director of Sales. Together with the team at Veem, Victoria enabled over 150,000 businesses to streamline their payment processes and build business relationships with suppliers and partners all over the world.
Victoria brings a unique blend of hi-tech sales, business development and exceptional commercial acumen. She will be ramping-up over the summer months, ahead of her full-time appointment beginning in September 2020.

As a Kanata North resident, Victoria is married, raising her two young children here in the community with her husband. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Information Technology, and a Masters in Business Law from the University of Wales, Swansea. Victoria is passionate about innovation, startups and scale-ups, with a vast network of advisors, peers and friends in the Kanata North Technology Park.
