The CENGN Cloud will allow for Next Generation Networking (NGN) development, as well as industry collaboration and connectivity. Innovation projects; like Smart Agriculture, Mining, Autonomous Vehicles, and Smart City, in addition to the improvement to both rural and urban life in Ontario.
The CENGN Cloud will build on its Federally funded NCE program to introduce a Smart Network Infrastructure that allows for collaboration between Industry, research / academia, and government bodies across Ontario.
This investment will enable CENGN to bring on 150 ICT Companies looking to demonstrate their innovations, train 1000 people in NGN technology and allow for 300 student placements.
5G networks are the backbone of future technologies and we applaud the Province of Ontario for recognizing the expertise and capabilities that CENGN offers to advance the development and availability of next generation networks and give Ontario businesses an edge.
