We are excited to introduce the newest member of the KNBA team, Neikko Burrell will be joining us over the summer as our Marketing & Events Intern. Neikko will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects including the annual update to our member directory, social media campaign support and content creation, writing assignments and support for our summer outdoor activities and events.

Neikko is an Algonquin College Public Relations student with a passion for social media marketing and event planning. He is excited about the opportunity to meet members of the tech park and contribute to our social activities and community events.

“Interacting with others and creating personal connections are my main strengths,” said Neikko “I enjoy public speaking and storytelling. When I’m not studying or chatting with friends, you will find me behind the bar at Starbucks as I am a part-time barista. I enjoy travelling and immersing myself into new cultures.”

“My goal is to travel to every continent at least once. I enjoy giving back to the community as I’ve completed several hundreds of hours of community service at organizations like the Children’s Wish Foundation, Greek Fest and elementary schools.”

“I’m very excited to share my ideas with the Kanata North Business Association this summer to make the business park a fun, enjoyable, and awesome place.”
