Growing Ontario’s Junior Achievement Program

As leaders in the Kanata business community we have endless resources with which we can educate our youth. The Ontario Network for Education has created the Junior Achievement Program (JA) in order to educate students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 about fundamental business skills and learnings.

Offering five different programs, the JA facilitates interaction amongst successful industry leaders and our youth through a series of one day workshops in local schools. This provides an opportunity for students to learn about financial literacy, entrepreneurship and business skills from an early age. Welcoming volunteer partnerships from the corporate sector, the JA program aims to provide students with real life experience to complement their current curriculum. JA programs are free of charge allowing students with carrying interests to participate.

With a vast array of business, technology, and entrepreneurial skills, KNBIA members are geared with fundamental skills that can be passed on to students of all ages. For more information on how to participate in this educational series click here.
