Tech Tuesday

On the first Tuesday of every month, Terry Matthews and the Wesley Clover team host a networking event for the high tech and related community in Ottawa.
The event kicks off at around 5.00pm and winds up at about 8.30pm. There are free hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.
Fodder for Our Fall Federal Election
Lots of ‘F’ words indeed! But a distinct pleasure for us to bring to you a very special TechTuesday this October 6th. In support of the upcoming Election, we will present a unique All-Candidates Forum, featuring leading Ottawa-area Delegates from each of the four key Federal parties. Using a panel format, we will explore each party’s position on such topics as innovation, research, infrastructure, economic growth and sustainable job creation.
This presentation is being made possible with the help of the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers and the Ottawa Chapter of the Professional Engineers of Ontario. We look forward to a spirited debate, covering subjects that we know will be relevant to a broad local audience.

5:00 – 5:30 PM: Arrival, Networking
5:30 – 6:15 PM: Pre-show cocktails and hors d’oeuvres
6:30 – 8:00 PM: Moderated debate; preset questions addressed to each of the four parties, with three minutes each to present their positions; additional questions may be chosen from the audience as time permits
8:00 – 8:30 PM: Post-show networking
