The new offices of Nokia located at 600 March Rd, Kanata, is extending an Invitation to join them for an Inside Ride Meet and Mingle (wine & cheese) on Tuesday, February 9th from 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm at ALU’s (Nokia) main reception. Guests will learn more about the Inside Ride, talk to some folks who have been part of it and meet some of the beneficiaries from previous years.

Event Details:

•  9^th Annual Inside Ride fundraising event Wednesday May 11^th 2016, 11:30am – 1:00pm at Nokia
• The Inside Ride is an indoor cycling challenge that fundraises for young cancer patients & their families – teams of 6 ride stationary bikes for 10 minutes each.
• 100% of our fundraising efforts go to Candlelighters Ottawa
•  To date, we have raised an 8 year total of $368,000 for young cancer patients in the National Capital Region.
• We are announcing a 5 year/$1M goal to Candlelighters Ottawa
• Our 2016 fundraising goal is $200,000
• Intention is to grow our event by inviting local Kanata North businesses who share Nokia’s passion for making a difference in our community, to come and participate May 11^th.
• This year’s confirmed outside participants – Ottawa Police, Health Canada, Ottawa Senators, Ottawa RedBlacks, HP and Sodexo.
