By enabling more connections at significantly higher data rates and lower latency, 5G infrastructure will facilitate revolutionary enhancements in our networked and connected society, including accelerating the continued development of the Internet of Things. In doing so, it will fast-track innovation and economic growth across Canada and around the world by increasing efficiency and enabling new products, services and businesses to be created. But the success of 5G in Canada will depend on an efficient regulatory structure and awareness and readiness of key stakeholders to take advantage of the new technology.

The 5G Canada event will kick-start the collaborative process towards setting Canada’s 5G agenda by providing a detailed overview of this complex subject. The program leverages knowledge and expertise from key industry players who are paving the way and marking a course for Canada’s adoption of this new technology.
