Over 40 local companies will be in attendance and hunting for new talent!

This is the third year in a row the Kanata North Business Association has hosted the popular career fair, one of the largest in the area. Last year there were over 1100 attendants that walked through the doors.

This year many of the hottest tech companies in the area will be exhibiting and looking for talent, as well as other business sectors. The event is open to the public, the media and anyone seeking employment.

“Each year the event has grown and the interest from our business community has been very positive, one company in particular, Syntronic mentioned they hired 4 full time employees as a result of attending the Career Fair last year,” said Jenna Sudds, Executive Director of the Kanata North Business Association.

Discover TECHNATA will provide visitors and job seekers the opportunity to discover the innovative and vibrant Kanata North business community, see product demos and find out about the available employment opportunities in the business and technology sectors. It offers a chance to shine a light on the game changing technology and the expanding business ecosystem.

Representatives from the University’s and colleges co-op programs will be on hand in the exhibitor lounge to answer any questions and discuss availability of students and the program benefits. The University of Ottawa has also arranged to have 2 bus loads of students from their engineering and graduate studies dept. dropped off at Discover TechNata.

This event is an excellent platform for hiring companies to showcase their organization, establish a profile amongst students and connect with highly qualified professionals.
